Caltrops! is a game for two players with no gamemaster. Inspired by the game I submitted for the 2017 200 Word RPG Challenge, Caltrops! uses a d4 dice pool mechanic to provide up to an hour of storytelling. The PDF includes the full rules, art, and a set of print-and-play cards to help visualize the game.

We’re hard at work behind the scenes to get The Blackwood off to the publishers. At the moment, most of the work for the book has gone off to artists and our layout designer. Instead of twiddling our thumbs, we decided to put out a quick micro RPG for your enjoyment! We love games like Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf RPG, which allow a small group of players to enjoy a quick RPG without worrying about rules mastery and the length of a typical RPG session.
The Mythic Gazetteer will create a bunch of traditional games, but we also plan to release these smaller games from time to time. Not only do they provide quick fun for the players, but they help us to expand our game design chops! We hope you’ll give it a try, and let us know how it goes!
